Madelaide is an emotional wellness app powered by artificial intelligence. Here you can talk about relationships, feelings, and everyday challenges with a non-judgmental AI companion. Beyond chat, you get access to a personal diary to record your feelings, daily tasks to organize your routine, emotional insights that identify patterns in your conversations, and the NVC Simulator — a tool to rewrite difficult messages with more empathy and clarity.

Madelaide is for people aged 18 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that: • You are 18 or older • The information you provide is truthful • You are using the app for personal and lawful purposes Each person may have only one account. Creating multiple accounts to bypass free plan limits is not allowed.

Madelaide's AI is powered by OpenAI language models — the same technology behind tools like ChatGPT. Your messages are securely sent for processing and are never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. The AI learns from conversation context to become more personalized, but it has limits: it's a support tool, not a diagnosis. Responses are automatically generated and may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

Madelaide works on a freemium model — you start for free and can upgrade whenever you want. Free Plan: 10 messages per day, basic chat access. Essential Plan: unlimited messages, full diary, tasks, and no ads. Premium Plan: everything in Essential + advanced emotional insights, monthly reports, and priority support. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period.

Everything you write in the app — conversations, diary, tasks — belongs to you. Madelaide stores this data to function, but never sells it or uses it for targeted advertising. You can export, correct, or delete your information at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains everything in detail.

To keep the environment safe for everyone: • Do not use the app for illegal purposes or to harm others • Do not attempt to hack or manipulate Madelaide's systems • Do not share your account with others • Do not use bots or automation to interact with the app • Do not insert content that promotes violence, hate, or self-harm Violations may result in immediate account termination.

We do everything to make Madelaide a reliable and safe service. But there is something important to understand: the AI has limitations, and the service may have occasional downtime. Madelaide is not responsible for decisions made based on AI responses, temporary technical interruptions, or data lost due to device failures. Our total financial liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months. This does not exclude responsibility in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

We may update these terms as Madelaide evolves. When making relevant changes, you will be notified at least 15 days in advance via in-app notification or email. Continuing to use the app after the notice means you accept the new conditions.

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. In case of dispute, the courts of Brazil shall have jurisdiction.
